About Joe
It's Ya Man,Joe Clair!
I am an American stand-up comedian, media personality, artist and entrepreneur.
I was a daily presence in the early days of the BET network as host and Vee-jay on "Rap City," where I interviewed some of hip-hop's biggest stars before they were household names. Nowadays, I co-host the highly rated Nina And Joe Afternoon Show on the historic WHUR, from the campus of Howard University.
I produce and perform comedy shows through my own production company and continue to tour with some of the biggest names in Black comedy. My passion for service has led to many philanthropic and humanitarian endeavors, including a company my wife heads called A Better Chance Recovery.

"Prince George's County Pound Cake"
"I'd cut a heifer!"
I came up with this recipe back when I was a single man, and knew I had a hit when my soon-to-be wife exclaimed she'd "cut a heifer!" after her first bite, drenched in strawberry juice and fresh whipped crème. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as she does!

It's Time For
The Percolator!
Ground coffee · 12 oz bag
Back when I was doing morning-drive radio, that extra early six-to-ten a.m. time slot, my appreciation for a great cup of coffee turned into a pursuit to source and brew my own.
I dove into the world of coffee, one of the world's most heavily traded commodities, and developed this blend. When thinking of names I had to give a nod to my Baltimore folks. I went to school at THEE Morgan State University, my wife is from the west side, and early in the morning, "It's Time For The Percolator!"
Please enjoy, and happy brewing!
