The City Of Cleveland Files A Claim Against The Family Of Tamir Rice!
The city of Cleveland has filed a $500 claim against the family of Tamir Rice, the toy-gun-wielding 12-year-old who was shot and killed by a cop in 2014, over an unpaid bill for his ambulance and paramedic services. The expenses reportedly include $450 for “advance life support” and $50 for his ambulance transport to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead. “That the city would submit a bill and call itself a creditor after having had its own police officers slay 12-year-old Tamir displays a new pinnacle of callousness,” says Rice family attorney Subodh Chandra. “Who on earth would think this was a good idea and file this on behalf of the city?”
